Claudia Wahl is a mediator, trainer, and facilitator. She is the former Executive Director of Mediation Services of Maui, Inc. where she continues to train new mediators for the agency.
Claudia has a Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peace Building from California State University at Dominguez Hills, and is a lecturer for the University of Hawaii, Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace, where she teaches Peace and Conflict Education classes (PACE) through the Maui Outreach Program. These classes include negotiation, mediation, peace and conflict studies, youth and conflict, nonviolence, and Personal Peace: Stories of HOPE.
Claudia is a strong believer in the use of mediation to empower people in making sound decisions about how they can effectively resolve their conflicts. She has been actively mediating for the past twelve years and has experience with a variety of case types including: business, divorce and custody, landlord/tenant, consumer/merchant, neighbor, condominium, special education, and victim/offender.

After a 25 year career as an attorney in the U.S. and Asia, Bill has settled on Maui where he has joined Claudia Wahl in founding Mediation Solutions LLC, a private mediation firm specializing in creating workable solutions to business and personal disputes.
He is a member of the Panel of
Mediators of the American
Arbitration Association (AAA).
Prior to the formation of Mediation Solutions LLC, Bill was Vice President and General Counsel for the Asia Pacific Division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, and Region Counsel for Bechtel Corporation in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Bill's wife, a Mauian, is a nurse; they have one daughter.
Bill has quickly become active in the community. He became, and remains, a volunteer mediator for Mediation Services of Maui, Inc.,
a nonprofit agency dedicated to assisting Mauians in amicably resolving community disputes. Bill also graduated from MEO's
Core Four Business course. He was
recently elected to his homeowners' association’s Board of Directors.
